God’s Prodigal Sons

One thing must be accepted: we are unable to change out natures. We must confess that we are helpless from ourselves; we are only grain of dust in the wind.

Nevertheless, whatever deep we are the grace is available for everybody. It is the grace of God. We can accept this wonderful incomprehensible power which radiates from our God’s endless love if we become obedient to our Creator. This is the first step because disobedience was our first sin.

God created all of His creatures wonderful as everything which springs from His nature is “perfect” in the moment of creation. We got everything from Him because He wanted to give everything for us.

Free will as the greatest gift was presented to us. Without it we couldn’t realize who we are or who He is. He gave unlimited freedom, everything that He has too. He didn’t chain us to Himself. We could (can) decide what we do with the received treasures as His children. We got strength and power as the children of the God of LOVE. As Jesus the Christ said: The father and I are one as we were with Him as well.

Later, in the awareness of our strength, we felt ourselves big and didn’t feel the necessity of obedience. As our haughtiness was growing, our feeling got more and more deformed.

“The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.”Luke 15.12

We began being estranged and when this distance got to a limit we broke the ties.

“Not long after that, the younger got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living.”Luke 15.13

This was the moment of our fall. The Holy Bible wonderfully pictures it with the picking of the forbidden fruit. The haughtiness as a snake appears which encourages the spirit to exalt itself and the forbidden fruit attributed the power and the strength as our possessions.

I don’t get involved into the man and woman symbols as they need a way greater lengths or an independent part.

“For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 1 Moses 3.5

There were brothers who didn’t act like this with the gifts of the Father and remained in the holy ties. They stayed in God. They stayed in the Fatherly shelter.

“’My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.’” Luke 15.31

Wasting our wealth, we created the law of the damnation and death for ourselves. God gave this grace, springing from His love, not to lose ourselves by our conceit.

“’Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it’?”  Luke 15.4

So, the spirit who realizes only a little truth will be called to return by the father.

In the sea of sufferings, when the spirit awakens to a desire of freedom it gets opportunity time to time for conversion and accepting the grace.

“After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need.” Luke 15.14

These plenty of sufferings and pains urge the spirit for obedience towards the Father. This can be seen nicely if we glance back at the past of the humanity at different developmental periods. The powers of the nature were given names and were respected as idols. The humanity created the multi-gods faith. They called gods different unsusceptible occurrences.

“So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs.” Luke 15.15

As the spirit in our times gets a little power it denies God. It wants to be independent and acts for its own glory. It does as it did at its falling. Those people who believe in God realize that their present state is the product of their sins, yet they wait for compensation from the Father. Compensation. Because they learn their Creator through sufferings. Their minds realize it and their spirit feel their miserable and depressing states. They want to get free from this situation.

“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: father, I have sinned against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son, make me like one of your hired men.’” Luke 15. 17-19

The difficulties (“He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.” Luke 15.16) awaken the desire for freedom but can’t realize God’s miracle yet. The spirit feels that he struggles in the earth but can’t feel the real truth, the LOVE. The spirit feels the consequence of his falling but not the real miracle as it was at the beginning of his creation. He can’t see the way upward to development or to the eternity, the real truth can’t inspire him to have it seen there are no farmhands in the Fatherly shelter. His God-picture is deformed yet and he can’t imagine that there would be no remembrance of his sins.

“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.’” Luke 15.22

We have to realize that we were mistaken as the prodigal son. If we can really feel that we turned away from Him, then our sense of justice will awake and with the development of our sound-judgement we can judge that there is only one good, on only one way we can act: if we do that is wished from us from the God of Love. As soon as we turn our faces to Him, we can feel our Father’s endless love and grace. The feeling will be stronger and stronger in our souls by the power of grace and can do more and more, and this wonderful power can interweave us thicker and thicker. When we are able to feel God’s will through our whole spirit, then we don’t want compensation. A grain of dust from Love which is breathed in honestly with wide-open spirit makes us forget every suffering and pain.

TO BE SUCH RECIPIENT, WE MUST SUFFER A LOT. SUFFERING SERVES THIS. IT WORKS ON THE SOUL TO MAKE IT ACCEPT AND RECEIVE. IT DESTROYS IN US THE THICKLY WEAVED SINS AND LEADS US TO OUR REAL SELVES.

The divine feeling doesn’t make us suffer but the desire and longing which want to break up with the human nature do. Those, who feel this in spirit, can get whatever earthly treasures and won’t be pleased with them. Without feeling God, they feel emptiness inside them. That’s why we must adore God in soul because we can never experience this miracle with mind or brain. While we search for the Father with mind, we follow this world’s truths and crucify Christ. Unfortunately, as the consequence of our turning-away, we only understand God’s Truths through the Golgotha (by springing from our human nature). Suffering peels off the thick and dark scales of the sin. If we understand that we can (and we must) remedy those acts which crucified Christ and we do so, then we can say: we live in God.

“Forgiveness of our sins” doesn’t exist without suffering because if we don’t suffer in this deformed and dirty world, it means the world’s truths are inside us. If I feel good in this false, evil, selfish and godless world, I don’t know the divine truth. The prodigal son gets everything and when he admits his sin, he returns to the fatherly shelter.

We get everything like this too.

Then, why don’t we do the same?

Since a little piece of the truth immediately awakens the haughtiness inside us like owing something and then our own glory is put forward.

But the task of the man, who wants to serve God, is to do good to others by putting himself to the background. If we can’t forgive others or can’t overlook their deviation, we only will hear the sound of the opposite in our ears which whispers like this: you are good and you know the truth, they don’t understand anything, leave them.

We must feel that nothing is ours. The given moment’s Truth is only a fraction of the whole. Development is continuous. Our souls are unable to develop without humbleness because the felt-part-truth will be put to the highest and it won’t back down, it will be stuck.

“Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5. 19-22

Become a tool between the man and the deviated man! This is the main aim for the awakened people. Who are they? There are many who are invited but only a few who are chosen!

The invited’s souls would be matured for the task, if they weren’t, they wouldn’t be invited. There is no uselessness in God. They serve and don’t serve. Their haughtiness is too big so they can’t be obedient in their souls and don’t give themselves to God. They may think they do great things in God and it can be true if we look them with human eyes. But God examines the soul and the heart. So, they will be left outside the gate. They will say in vain: My Lord! My Lord! Didn’t we act in your name? The answer will be: “But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 7.23

The temptation is huge for the chosen too. The deeper they feel God’s truth and the higher they go to God, the greater they feel the power of the opposite. That’s why the most important is that we mustn’t want to act by ourselves; we must wait how the Father disposes over us. We mustn’t want to teach or profess the Word at any cost.

God doesn’t need it! The people He chooses, He invites them, trues them and gives His Word into their mouths. God looks after the man who feels desire to his Creator to make him hear His Word!

Let’s be obedient! Let’s listen to the Fatherly word and God showers us according to His grace and love.

Let’s guard the desire to the Father, believe and do our best to do good according to our consciences.

Thank You for radiating Your love to such a deep place like the earth. Thank You for opening the doors of your truths and we can get to know Your endless goodness. Though we see cloudily and fall but You help us, your prodigal sons, through Your Holy Son.
